Regular Giving
Rather than give a one-off gift, it may suit you to make your donation on a monthly basis. Also, regular donations allow us to plan ahead with confidence in the knowledge that our income is secure.
How does it work?
Giving by Direct Debit is an agreement between you and The Scottish Society for Autism to have regular donations taken from your bank or building society.
You can arrange a Direct Debit by printing and filling in the direct debit form and faxing or posting the completed form to The Scottish Society for Autism, FREEPOST, TY721, Alloa FK10 3BR or call 01259 720044 to give us your details.
Money Boxes
Not everyone can afford to make a regular donation by standing order to a charity but every penny we receive makes a difference to the services we provide for people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Over 5,000 people have given a home to a small cardboard home moneybox and are saving their loose change to help raise money to support our lifeline services.
This is a great way of supporting us as it may not seem like a lot at the time but it soon mounts up and with enough people doing it the home moneyboxes can raise a significant sum. For more information or to request your home moneybox, please contact our head office on 01259 720044.
Payroll Giving
You can now give to The Scottish Society for Autism direct from your salary through payroll giving - the simplest and most tax effective way to give if you are employed or in a company pension scheme. Your regular donations will help us plan our work and provide effective support to persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout Scotland.
Why payroll giving?
Its tax effective and very easy to set up and manage. The amount you decide to give is deducted from your pay before tax is calculated. So every £1 you give will only cost you 78p. If you pay higher rate tax the tax savings are even greater.
How do I sign up?
If your employer or company doesn't already have a payroll giving scheme contact us and we can help you set it up. The Scottish Society for Autism would be delighted to advise and offer practical assistance on Payroll Giving
