Climb Kili in 2011
23 Sept - 2 October

The highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Make 2011 the year of your biggest adventure!

We have chosen the Lemoshu route as it is the most scenic and being slightly longer gives you more time to acclimatise. You start in the rainforest of Lemosho Glades and head to the dramatic Shira Plateau. From here you continue along the stunning Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route to the Summit (19,298 feet /5882m). Although there are huts these are not for sleeping in so you will be camping on the trek. The price includes, National Park Permit, Guide and Porters, UK Medic, all transfers and a hotel night at each end on full board basis, twin share.  It does not include flights to allow people to flexibility to extend their stay for a safari.

Minimum Sponsorship £3250. Personal Contribution £150.

Donate online or by direct debit

You can make an instant donation here : Donate Now . Or you can make a regular donation once a month, once or twice a year simply by setting up a Direct Debit - which also helps to reduce our administration costs.

Your donation could be spent in some of these ways:

£25 may help us buy art therapy materials
£75 could offer a parent of a newly-diagnosed child a training session
£200 would help a teenager improve their emotional well-being through therapy
£1000 could improve a family's daily life with sleep counselling

Get Active 4 Autism!

If you would like to raise awareness of autism and raise money for the Society, you can do all sorts of things from coffee mornings to car boot sales, sponsored events such walks, runs or bike rides. You can organise your own, join an organised event or take on a challenge. - more.

As a business, your employer and colleagues can join forces with great results - more.

You can also send a cheque to  The Scottish Society for Autism , Freepost TY721, Alloa, FK10 3BR . Cheques should be made payable to The Scottish Society for Autism. Remember to include your name and address so we can reply and also give you the opportunity to complete a Gift Aid form if you are UK taxpayer. Gift Aid costs you nothing but allows the Society to claim a further 25% of your donation from the government- makes a big difference.

GardenDonations helped to fund a new garden at Ridgepark.

HedgetrimmerSupport need not take the form of money. Here a rotary club donates a new hedgetrimmer to Gartinny, our Horticultural Centre where people with autism learn new skills.
