Clannalba, Respite and Transitional Assessment Centre

We offer flexible, individual support to children and adults with autism and their families and respite care as part of a comprehensive support programme. We work towards enabling people with autism to live in the community with minimal impact on family life and maximum contribution to personal enhancement.


PoolMore than time out

Clannalba is unique offering a wide range of planned and purposeful periods of respite for children and adults from Scotland and beyond. Breaks range from a few hours, to a single night to two or three week stays during holidays.  Our safe and secure environment allows each person the freedom and space they need. More


BungalowsPreparing for a New Life

Our two bungalows each create a comfortable, modern home where we work with young and mature adults to prepare them for living more independently in their own community. More


swingDaytime Support

Children come to Clannalba for anything from a few hours to several days a month. It may be as respite to their carers, the first steps towards returning to school. More


SlideTeam Weekends

Teenagers or young adults with Asperger's Syndrome or high functioning autism can come to Clannalba one weekend a month for fun and social activities. More


Activity Breaks

Adults and children with autism are welcome to come to Clannalba for an activity break of between two and five days. Our location means we can offer a full range of outdoor activities such as orienteering and canoeing. More
