Standards

All our services are registered and inspected by the Care Commission as well as accredited by the National Autistic Society.  This ensures that we adhere to the National Care Standards as well as a national standard of autism specific understanding and service delivery.

We have quality assurance systems in place to ensure that we maintain our high quality of care.  We consult with all our stakeholders such as service users, their families, other agencies and professionals involved in our services.

Complaints

We are very keen to maintain a high quality of service to service users; therefore we positively encourage feedback and comments by all those involved with our services.  The Society has a Complaints Procedure which is available in all services as well as at the Head Office of the Society. We will be glad to hear from you if you are unhappy about any aspect of our service.

Alternatively, if you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you can contact the Care Commission in Glasgow - telephone: 0141 843 4230 or The Scottish Commission for Care, Dundee, Telephone: 01382 20710 (except in the case of the school).

Equal Opportunities

The Scottish Society for Autism promotes equal opportunities for people regardless of culture, creed, beliefs or preferences.  The services are committed to meeting specific cultural or religious needs.  If you require this information in another format or language, please contact us.
